What is the Esterel Consortium?

The Esterel Consortium was created in 2002 to:

Define Esterel Studio roadmap by submitting product enhancements requests and collaboratively agreeing on implementation priorities
Exchange user experience, methodological guidelines and project achievements, during interactive workshops and production projects presentations
Define necessary interfaces, supported standards and other EDA vendors interoperability to ensure each new release naturally fits into Esterel Consortium members production flows
Beta test incoming versions
Assess on real projects that new product releases actually deliver the quality and performance requested enhancements
