Supported EDA Standards

The Open SystemC Initiative (OSCI) is an independent not-for-profit organization composed of a broad range of companies, universities and individuals dedicated to supporting and advancing SystemC as an open source standard for system-level design.  Esterel Technologies is committed to generating SystemC code compliant with the standards defined by OSCI. Version 5.4 generates SystemC 2.0 standard and our roadmap includes supporting SystemC TLM 2.0.

The SPIRIT Consortium provides a unified set of specifications based on IP meta-data, the IP-XACT specifications, for importing complex IP bundles into SoC design tool sets, and exchanging design descriptions between tools. it covers two aspects IP integration into tool flows: the IP meta-data description and the IP-XACT tool integration API. Read about Esterel Studio IP-XACT support.

Accellera’s Standard Co-Emulation Modeling Interface ( SCE-MI) as a verification standard. The SCE-MI specification improves high speed transaction-level verification between different hardware and software simulation and emulation systems. Esterel Technologies supports this standard for communication with accelerated verification tools, including that of our partner' eVe.
